CMP Scholarship Fund for Phd History


Phd History CMP Scholarship Fund seeks to encourage members of the teaching staff * Central Maine Power to add or retired. CMP supports a training / activities of the company to grow, improve and expand the aspirations of Maine youth.


Eligibility

Maine Community Foundation administers the fund and select the recipients based on criteria described below.
Phd History Applicants must:

Members are employees or retirees of CMP
with the senior high school in Maine secondary / secondary
reside in the service area of ​​Central Maine Power Company, and
Enrollment in secondary school program (including technical programs and certificate)


Criteria

The following criteria will be considered equally in evaluating applicants:

Personal aspirations
Academic achievement
Financial need
Contribution to school and involvement in community activities

Awards

The Phd History CMP Scholarship Fund will award up to $10,000 annually to high school seniors who are dependents of CMP employees or retirees. Three or more awards will be made annually and will range from $1,000 to $5,000, with the average award being $2,500. Awards will be made for one year only and will not be renewable.

Administration:

All Phd History applications and required information sent separately must be postmarked by May 1. Incomplete applications or those postmarked after this date will not be processed. All information received from applicants will be treated as confidential.
